I'm sorry. Did I miss something? Is there a new world order?

I am watching Some Kind of Wonderful and it makes me think of all those movie/ tv show things that irk me so.
In real life Watts would have never gotten Keith. In real life Keith (if he actually would have scored a date with Amanda) would have been dumped by Amanda a little bit after graduation. She would have said "You know it was really great, Keith. It really was but I am going to college soon, the whole point of college is to leave high school behind. I can't get the college experience with you as my boyfriend. But we can still be friends you know?" Keith would have proceeded to run off to the nearest pay phone and call Watts. Watts would have shown immediately with some awesome music playing with a shit eating grin in her crappy car and said "Hate to say I told you so" Keith would have left for art school leaving Watts behind. She will be crushed and they will slowly lose contact. That is what would happen in real life. Keith will marry a girl he met in college who totally pretended to hate him for months but she was totally into him. They will have three girls. The first one named Susan after Watts.

We all know in the real world in the end all the Watts in this world get screwed over. There are people put on this earth just to be screwed over. You need them. You have the beautiful people, the dreamers, and the ones that get stepped on. Its just that simple. Damn you, Some Kind of Wonderful, you get me each time.
