Jun. 8th, 2008 11:59 amYesterday it was redick hot. I had to work from 10-2:15 but it wasn't as hot as it usually was in the store. Speaking of Target I really want to get another job. They don't give enough hours. I have been working there for almost a year and they only give me 8 hours a week and always on the weekends. That is a bit ridiculous that I am available to work everyday and they never schedule me. Seriously come on. If they schedule me for two weekdays and the weekend (which isn't the least bit unusual to want to work a 15 hour week) I would be making double. I can't even deposit some of my check anymore because its so little. It is really frustrating I don't want to work crazy hours but working a bit would be nice.
Anyway at work I get a text from Dana saying that Vivien (Alina's twin) called her crying. I guessed her boyfriend broke up with her. They seemed to be having trouble not to be rude but she seemed way more into him than he was into her. I was right. So I put on my super teen girl face and was like OMG CRYFEST GO. So I went over to Dana's and she seemed pretty bad in the grand tradition of girl breakups you don't talk about it unless the person mentions it. Coincidentally enough it was Free Ice Cream day at Friendly's so we went there for a calorie fest. The waiter was a cool dude and was pretty much giving us everything for 10 cents. Vivien told us she hadn't eaten all day. So we stuffed our faces. She really wants Nick back but she is coming off a bit desperate like I get that she likes him but if he broke up with her that should indicate that you might want to cool it off first. But hey I am the last person to comment. We watched Clueless and Alina (Courtney's boo/Vivien's twin sister) came over. Dimitri was having a BBQ and Vivien knew Nick was going to be there so she wanted to talk to him . So once again following girl law we told her she had to hot it up. Every time a break up occurs you have to look hot. Vivien didn't really understand that. I was like "you have to look like you are unfazed and say I don't need you." And she goes "but I do. I want him back." I told her I know but you can't that way. You have to act like you don't care. She still didn't get it but she still slutted it up. So we waited at Dimitri's (lame) BBQ for Nick to show up. They talked once he got there. There was tears but he was still vague face and was clear they were still broken up. As this was going on D. Nev, Danny, Alina and I were chilling in Dimitri's bunk beds. I feel asleep for five seconds after Alina and I were wondering Wtf Nick and Vivien were doing. We texted them like 100 times to no answer. We just assumed they were doing work. Alina made some funny comments such as: "Uh Make up sex."
We slept over their house. Did the girl thing aka wash our faces, drink Fresca, eat 90 calorie packs of popcorn and watch Mean Girls. Dana and I wanted to gag at the perfection that is the twins' abdomen. But we refrained. We passed out after discussing boys and our flaws. We woke up talked about Summer. Vivien wants to get back with Nick this summer. Dana wants to pimp ( even though she has a boyfriend) Alina says she is super excited for summer and I went yeah you are. She got beet red and goes "I actually wasn't talking about that but thanks for reminding me" Now I am at Borders dicking around before work starts. I have been a bit melancholy lately and I can't take it. I feel really lonely due to my lack of interaction with the opposite sex. I am not saying I absolutely need a boyfriend but I feel as if all I do is hang out with couples and girls. It gets kinda boring. Whatever.
