The senior trip came and went. It was fun but nothing to write about except I saw Katy Perry, White Tie Affair and Metro Station. They were all awesome.
Anywhozzile Yesterday I went to see Star Trek with Dana, Steven, Brittany, her boyfriend Sean, Dana's boyfriend Kevin, and a whole bunch of Steven's friends. When I got there at first it was just me, Dana, Steven and HIS crew. But it wasn't awkward, His friends were really nice. Dana had to invite Kevin because she felt everyone was coupled off. We thought it was going to be so packed because it was Star Trek and it wasn't at all. We got a whole row to ourselves. Steven and I talked before the movie and everything was smooth sailing. I had an iced coffee beforehand to ensure I would not fall asleep during the movie (it was a 10:30 show!) I was afraid caffeine + my undying love would make me extra rambly. I went in with the mind set that nothing was going to happen so it made me un-nervous. Brittany was sitting on the other side of me and if I started to ramble or it was awkward she would touch my knee. (Its a system her and Dana made up). She didn't touch my knee once!
The movie was really good. I am not a Trekkie or a Trekker as they liked to be referred to as, but I still dug it.
At the end of the movie we were all talking. Then the subject of Prom came up. Dana and Brittany got this wide eyed looked and pushed their boyfriends outside. It was adorable. Then Steven asked me to be his date to Prom!!!!!!!
BUT I asked him when it was and its the same day as ours
:( :( :(. I told him he should just come to mine because as ~REIGNING PROM QUEEN~ I have to attend Prom to crown the next girl. He said he would think about it in a "totally possible" way. We hugged a bunch of times because since he is so tall he had to show me different examples of hugs. And then we separated ways but as we were separating are hands were still kinda linked. But alas we separated. Meanwhile Dana and Brittany were watching (read:creeping) from afar. Apparently Kevin, Dana's 21 year old boyfriend, was channeling a tween girl and was saying "Kiss her" in hopes of Steven hearing from across the parking lot. Dana and Brittany were so excited for me. It is kinda surreal. All I wanted was a cute boy to ask me to prom and I got THE CUTEST BOY to ask me.
I hope we can figure something out and this "develops" into something.
