Don't make me want to give up
Aug. 22nd, 2009 12:24 pmSo my first and second day of classes are over.
It was pretty okay.
My first class was at 8:30 but it wasn't so bad because
A: I'm a morning person
B: It was an hour and
C: It was my only class of the day.
It is an Intro to Astronomy class called "From Cosmos to Earth" and is taught by this adorable old man.
The girl who sits next to me in the class looks like Taylor Swift. I want to be her friend for that sole reason.
The food in the dining hall is actually pretty good. I guess I wont mind eating there twice a day.
That night we decided to have Project Runway night at our place because it was premiering.
We invited our frenemies from the next apartment over and a girl we genuinely like from down the hall.
We made popcorn and it was fun, except for the bitches from next door trashing our lack of furniture and small tv.
THEN AT FUCKING 5 AM! The alarm went off. We have individual alarms in each of our rooms. I Flew out of bed, into my shoes, and ran around the apartment knocked on my roomies rooms and said "GUYS THE ALARM IS GOING OFF WE HAVE TO GO" and ran out the door. My roommates were freaking out. I was just glad that I decided to sleep in pants that night instead of booty shorts. We are all waiting outside the apartment as a EPIC Lighting, thunder and rain extravaganza is going on. The alarm is wailing and it wasn't a drill. We still dont know what happened though.We had to sleep in our liviing room with all the doors closed. It sounded like a dog whistle but eventually we fell asleep. The alarm was on for 1 hour and a 1/2 . T
The next day I had my Algebra class. The guy who teaches it has a crazy accent yet I still understand everything he says. It was so weird,
After that I had Humanities.
It seems like a pretty interesting class. We are going to be talking about utopian and dystopian societies aka MY FAVORITE THING.
We will also watch The Dark Knight. KEWL? I THINK SO.
Last night Claire, Nikki and I went to the mall. I got a pair of brown skinnies for 12.50!!!!
Then like lamers we all went to study.
My other roomie Claire B. who i have officially dubbed Barnes or ClaireBarnes (One word) is really coming out of her shell. She is still the quietest but she is really funny. We decided we are going to start rumors about her to make her seem like a badass.
1. She does backflips off the roof.
2. She started the fire,
Any other crazy rumors you can think of please let me know.

My friends also called last night and it made me super sad. Jamie, Natalia, Katie and Dana were all partying. Usually that wont happen because I am the common link. They all said how they missed me and I almost cried. I only get home sick when people call. My mom calls me everyday and I love talking to her, don't get me wrong, but it always bums me out. She is always so sad and I feel bad because there is nothing I can do .
OY VEY. I have spent the morning cleaning and watching Felicity. God does it rock.
